Bedwetting & ThetaHealing — Emotional Roots of Nighttime Wetting
Bedwetting after age 5 is rarely a physical problem. It is almost always an emotional one. And it can shift — when you know where to look.
What you have probably already tried
You have limited fluids after dinner. You have set alarms in the middle of the night. You have tried sticker charts, rewards, gentle talks, and firm talks. And it is still happening.
What ThetaHealing sees that others miss
The child who wets the bed at night is almost always a child carrying emotional tension they cannot name. At night, when the conscious mind rests, the nervous system releases what it has been holding all day.
The belief underneath
With bedwetting, I often find beliefs like: I have to be on guard even when I sleep. It is not safe to fully let go. Something bad will happen if I relax.
Who I work with, and how
For younger children — under 6 or 7 — I work primarily with the parent. For older children — from around 7 upward — I work directly with the child as well.
What shifts when the work is done
The changes are often sudden and complete. Because we did not work on the symptom. We worked on what was creating it.
